Der Hermann-Heusch-Platz ist ein Hinterhof umgeben von Wohnanlagen südwestlich der Aachener Innenstadt. Die Stadt Aachen ließ auf dem Platz mehrere Kunstwerke aufstellen.

Eines davon ist die Skulptur "Stelzenkinder" von Krista Löneke-Kemmerling aus dem Jahr 1983. Die Bronzeskulptur ist etwa zwei Meter groß und zeigt einen Jungen und ein Mädchen, die auf Stelzen laufen.
The Hermann-Heusch-Platz is a backyard surrounded by residential areas southwest of the city center of Aachen. The city of Aachen had several works of art set up on the plaza.

One of them is the sculpture "Stelzenkinder" (i.e. "Stilt Children") by Krista Löneke-Kemmerling from the year 1983. The bronze sculpture is about two meters tall and shows a boy and a girl walking on stilts.
