Colby-Alderman Park, named after George Colby, the medium who founded nearby Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp, and the Alderman family who were the owners of this land, is right outside of Cassedaga on the banks of Lake Colby. It has a picnic pavilion, a playground, fishing, and a boat ramp as well as this nature trail which leads to an overlook of Lake Colby.
This trail starts at the Colby-Alderman Park and meanders through the woods behind the Cassadage Spiritualist Camp, passing a pavilion and a spring overlook before reaching the lake overlook - total length of walk is about a mile and a half round trip.
