The posted coordinates are for the nearby intersection of Liberty and Smithfield, from which this faded ad is best viewed. Main streets in downtown Pittsburgh, like Liberty Avenue, used to be dotted with ads on the brick buildings. Many have been lost to restoration or redevelopment, but this one survives. The building is part of the Penn-Liberty Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
