The Western Village is am assortment of shops and antique displays just outside of Payson. It includes The Art and Antique Corral, The House of Amethyst and Barn Door Books. It is housed in a former gas station/garage. The horse is mounted on a sign next to the highway. The horse is painted a palomino color and, unusually, has a bobbed tail. The horse stands proud, the sign has seen better days.
