La Citadelle de Namur est un site historique classé comme exceptionnel en Wallonie.
Située au confluent de la Sambre et de la Meuse, la citadelle est un domaine public, ouvert aux promeneurs. Ses vues panoramiques sur la ville et la vallée de la Meuse sont imprenables.
Des visites guidées sont également possibles toute l’année au départ du Centre du Visiteur Terra Nova. Dans cet espace, découvrez 2000 ans d’Histoire de la ville et de la citadelle grâce aux projections vidéos, aux maquettes, visuels et autres documents.
Plongez au cœur de l’histoire en visitant les souterrains de la citadelle dotés depuis 2017 d’une scénographie son et lumière. Effets 3D, projections, son vous permettent de comprendre le rôle et l’utilisation de ces galeries à travers les âges.
Enfin, le tour commenté en train touristique permet aux petits et aux grands de se balader dans le domaine fortifié tout en écoutant les commentaires historiques diffusés.

Gelegen aan de samenvloeiing van de Samber en de Maas, de citadel is een openbaar domein, open voor wandelaars. Zijn panoramische uitzichten over de stad en de Maasvallei zijn adembenemend.
Rondleidingen zijn het hele jaar door ook mogelijk vanuit het Bezoekerscentrum Terra Nova. In deze ruimte ontdekt u 2000 jaar geschiedenis van de stad en de citadel aan de hand van videoprojecties, modellen, beelden en andere documenten.
Duik in het hart van de geschiedenis door een bezoek te brengen aan de ondergrondse gangen van de citadel, die zijn uitgerust met geluid en licht scenografie sinds 2017. 3D-effecten, projecties en geluid geven je inzicht in de rol en het gebruik van deze galerijen door de eeuwen heen.
