Wooden lychgate set upon a brick base with two dedicatory tablets placed on the sides of the brick base.
The inscriptions read -
Tablet:
THIS LYCHGATE WAS ERECTED AS A MEMORIAL
TO THOSE WHOSE LIVES WERE REQUIRED
AND AS A THANK OFFERING
BY THOSE WHOSE LIVES WERE SPARED
DURING THE LATE WAR
MCMXX.
