The whole valley of the river Jeker (Geer, french) has a Marl sub terrain. Many people had their own marl cave to provide block for building houses and farms.
Here the cave is use by the farmer for his cows and some farming equipment.
The cave is probable not so deep, we presume abouth 25 to 50m.
