Description:

Robin Moore was born in Boston and lived in Concord, MA. During World War II he served in the US Army Air Corps as a nose gunner in Europe. After the war he attended Harvard University where he graduated in 1949. His first book was about Fidel Castro, Devil to Pay, written in 1961. He is most famous for writing the books The Green Beret and the The French Connection both of which were made into films. He also wrote the lyrics to the song The Green Berets.

Robin Moore was a prolific author until shortly before his death in 2008.
