Long Description:
The Pulsifer House was built by Edward Pulsifer, an early, local merchant, in 1844 in the Federalist architectural style. Currently it is museum and headquarters of the Putnam County Historical Society. The museum has period furniture and other memorabilia of the period.

Cultural history. The house is over 160 years old and on display is furniture and other items of the period.
