Liberty Tree: September 11, 2002
Planted/Dedicated on the 1st Anniversary of the terrorists attacks on NYC and the Pentagon, this elm tree commemorates the original Liberty Tree of Boston, also an elm, around which American Revolution and our stand against tyranny was birthed. This Liberty Tree is Douglas County's statement that terrorism will never win.
