Baignade is translated into Swemen.
Swemen is a word that sounds funny but does not exist in the Dutch Language so therefore has no meaning.
The fact that most people are bilingual around this French/Belgium border, makes is even more strange why it translated wrong.
As this sign is in Belgium, why is French on top??
Many questions here.
Original Language: French

Translation of foreign language portion of the sign:
Verboden te Zwemmen (No smimming)
