In 1931, the Heister family, a very prominent family in Reading, PA, built this "castle" inspired by a 13th century English castle and used it as their vacation home. The Heisters used the castle as a vacation home until 1956 when they sold it and it was transformed into a restaurant. An addition was added and it became known as the Knight's Pub. Our Knight is waiting to see you here.
