A number of 14th century stone mask corbels can be seen around All Saints' church, Somerby. Whether these were the masons, wealthy benefactors of the church, or maybe just some of the paritioners is not known, but there are some characters in their midst...
The church is a very old building of stone showing portions with Norman work. It is somewhat unusual because the tower and the steeple are in the centre of the church. The church was restored in 1866. The church chancel was restored in 1885.
