The Florianhütte is located at Altenburger Platz south of Rech at a crossroads in the middle of the forest.
It was built in 1967 and is dedicated to Saint Florian.
The hut is open to the northeast and offers some seating. Near the hut there is a playground and several smaller huts for storage.

The cottage is used occasionally, but the condition of the grounds, playground equipment and outdoor benches and tables is desolate.
