This Ontario Department of Highways Land Surveys horizontal marker is on the southeast corner of the intersection of Didsbury Road (once known as First Line Road, March township) and an unnamed east-west road allowance. There was once a plan for that unnamed road to cross the Carp River but a retail mall has since been built on that road allowance at the edge of the river. Decades ago, that road allowance separated lot 3 from lot 2, concession 1, March township.
The mounted marker is above ground, very near the corner of the metal fence. Disbury Road is behind Canadian Tire.
