Door de centrale ligging in het hart van de Bollenstreek heeft Noordwijk de bijnaam 'Bloemenbadplaats van Europa'. Het 13 kilometer lange strand van Noordwijk grenst voor een groot gedeelte aan het prachtige natuurgebied Hollands Duin. Op twee rustige gedeeltes van het strand ten noorden van Noordwijk is naaktrecreatie toegestaan.

Naaktrecreatie is toegestaan tussen paal 78,0 en 79,5. (ongeveer tussen strandopgang 24 en 22). Het gebied is met borden aangegeven.
Op het naaktstrand zijn geen voorzieningen aanwezig. Bij de strandopgang Duindamseslag staat het strandpaviljoen "De Zeespiegel".
Op het naaktstrand is geen direct badtoezicht, de dichtstbijzijnde reddingspost staat bij de standopgang Duindamseslag.
Bij recente controle was de zwemwaterkwaliteit in orde.

Due to its central location in the heart of the bulb-growing region, Noordwijk is nicknamed 'Flower resort in Europe'.
The 13 kilometer long beach of Noordwijk borders for a large part on the beautiful nature area 'Hollands Duin'.
Nudist recreation is permitted on two quiet parts of the beach north of Noordwijk.

Nude recreation is allowed between post 78.0 and 79.5. (approximately between beach entrance 24 and 22). The area is signposted.
There are no facilities on the nudist beach. At the beach entrance Duindamseslag is the beach pavilion "De Zeespiegel".
On the nudist beach there is no direct bathing supervision, the nearest rescue station is at the standstill Duindamseslag.
