Horn is a 370m high peak south of Altenburg.
From a roughly built refuge you have a very nice view into the valley of Altenburg and parts of Altenahr with the castle Are, the Engelsley, the Teufelsley, the surrounding mountains and with a clear view up to the Kalenborn height.

The shelter is built of coarse logs and is open to all sides.
Tables are placed around the central column. The building carries a weather vane with compass on the roof.
