Claresholm Animal Shelter is operated by the Claresholm Animal Rescue Society and is part of C.A.R.e.S. network throughout Canada. The Canadian Animal Rescue and Extended Shelter (C.A.R.e.S) was formed in 1993 by a small group of dedicated animal enthusiasts. Originally its primary focus was for stray and unwanted cats, however the Claresholm Animal Shelter will accept dogs as part of their services.
