The Tongeren Model Wings is a model flying club with the aim of practicing model aviation. In addition, young and old can learn how to pilot a modeling aircraft. Finally, the club also wants to offer space for learning and exchanging knowledge and skills related to this sport discipline.

Founded in 1971 and recently adapted to the new laws, an annual range of activities takes place on the airfield with accompanying clubhouse:
There can be daily flights by members, guest pilots are welcome after appointment with the board.
There is flown with floaters: worn, towed and electro. There is a flight with motor planes: electro and fuel. Helis are flying with fuel and electro-propulsion.
There is a training program with training aircraft from the club, with double steering.
There are annual fun, pylon (Quickey 500 / f3R, Dogfight) competitions, in addition to an international glutton.
In winter, indoor flights are flown in the Oase sports hall of the city of Tongeren, reserved for members and indoor equipment.
The cozy hatch provides BBQ, mussel party, Christmas party ... also an open canteen on Saturday and Sunday and all that in an open, cozy atmosphere where everyone is welcome!
You can become a member of the secretary after paying a one-off bill and paying the annual contribution. You will then receive your flight license with insurance, your membership card, the rules of procedure and your flight frequency.
