This pioneer cemetery is located just east of Coldstream on RR 16. The stones have been gathered into one concrete monument with a plaque. There are approximately 120 graves here.
PLAQUE TEXT:
"HUME CEMETERY
Begun in 1825 with the burial of Janet and Malcolm McKellar.
In 1833 Dougal D. McArthur, Archie McKellar and Dougal McCall, Trustees, received the deed from William Marikle in trust for the Township of Lobo.
Last internment in 1907.
Restored in 1953 by descendants of the pioneers of this region."
