Rankins Springs Bush Fire Brigade - Firehouses on Waymarking.com

This is a very basic, light green, Colorbond clad shed, with a double sliding door on the eastern (Railway Turn-table) side of it. There is only a dirt and gravel apron to the front of the low pitched hip roofed building.

To the left of the front of the building is a hanging water-supply hose, for filling up the fire tanker. (It is possible that it is also used, with permission, for the locals to get much needed water.)

[There is an OLD, partly rusty, corrugated iron shed, with a single swinging opening door, beside the St Kevin's Catholic Church on the Mid Western Highway, at: S33° 50.538' E146° 15.592'; it is used for minor storage (as told by the fire captain), and you are welcome to photograph that as well, or even instead, tho that is NOT the working building.]

I had stopped in Rankins Springs to photograph St Kevin's Church (and Outhouse), saw the OLD Brigade building, and then noticed a couple of Fire Fighting vehicles, that were near the garage, and when I approached the local Brigade Captain found that the current building is near where I was going to go to anyway - near the Turn-table.
