The church of Saint-Gilles de Clenleu consists of a nave of three spans, a transept and a choir of three spans, terminated by an apse with cut-off sides, the same height under vaults, built in white chalk, and in a single campaign of construction: the arms of William of Ostove and Marie de Boufflers in the choir allow to situate its construction at the beginning of the sixteenth century.
The third key to the vault is the paschal lamb. The choir-lamps of the choir are carved with foliage, crests, and dragons, one of which fights a madman.
The building was restored in the 19th century by Clovis Normand. Some inscriptions mention the Abbe Perard who contributes to the enrichment of his decor in the years 1860-1870.
In the same years, stained glass windows were ordered at the Bazin house, which were partially damaged during the Second World War. The nave has retained two windows of grisaille signed Bazin in 1874 and 1875, the others having been replaced by white glass windows.

L’église Saint-Gilles de Clenleu se compose d’une nef de trois travées, d’un transept et d’un chœur de trois travées terminé par une abside à pans coupés, de même hauteur sous voûtes, bâtis en craie blanche, et en une seule campagne de construction : les armes de Guillaume d’Ostove et de Marie de Boufflers figurant dans le chœur permettent de situer sa construction au début du XVIe siècle.
La troisième clef de voûte figure l'agneau pascal. Les culs-de-lampe du chœur sont sculptés de feuillages, d'écussons, et de dragons dont l'un combat un fou.
L’édifice est restauré au XIXe siècle par Clovis Normand. Quelques inscriptions mentionnent l’abbé Pérard qui contribue à l’enrichissement de son décor dans les années 1860-1870.
Dans les mêmes années, des vitraux sont commandés à la maison Bazin, qui sont endommagés en partie durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. La nef a conservé deux fenêtres de grisailles signées Bazin en 1874 et 1875, les autres ayant été remplacées par des vitraux en verre blanc.
