Location of trail: N. 5th St., Page Branch Park, Elsberry

"This Fit-Trail is along the course of a hiking/walking - bicycle trail that meanders through the outline of the park and is about 2 miles in length.
The tail has loops around bridges, and other obstacles used in the fitness trail for exercises, if you are just walking, or biking.

I will be have photos of four station plus the trailhead - or information station - there are posts, bridges, stairs etc., at each station and the instruction on how to use each

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS
• FIT-TRAIL is a series of exercise stations located along a trail or in one central locations [Here it is along a trail]
• You are at the INFORMATION STATION of the system
• Each exercise station has an EXERCISE INSTRUCTION sign and EXERCISE APPARATUS.
• Proceed from station to station and perform the exercise as instructed.
• You can monitor your heartbeat by using the TARGET HEART BEAT RANGE GUIDES.
• Take your 10 second pulse rate before starting through the system. This rested pulse rate will be used during the cool down phase of the system. At the end of your workout, cool down to the beginning level .
• All exercises are for both MEN and WOMEN.
• Be sure to consult your doctor before stating any exercise.
By jogging or briskly walking through the system and performing the exercise routine, you are getting a well-balanced conditioning program


An important element of the system is the TARGET HEAT BEAT RANGE GUIDE located at stations throughout the system.

The TARGET HEART BEAT RANGE GUIDES provide valuable information about how you should pace yourself during any sports or exercise activity.

Be sure to bring a friend or your entire exercise class and meet the great outdoors.
