Right on the western corner of the Mid-Western Highway (aka Railway Street) and Wee Street, in the 'Central West' area of New South Wales is this two-storey, wooden, classic Hotel. It is some 500 km west of Sydney. Wikipedia gives the possible origin of the town's name - Weethalle, as being the Aboriginal word for, 'Drink'. [The area was set aside as homestead farms for returned soldiers in 1921; with the first wheat being harvested in 1923.] As the Dated section of the facade shows, this Hotel was built in 1928, not long after the area was 'opened'. The hotel was built at a cost of £13,000. (

Online reviews of the Royal Hotel are good, even after the sale/change of owners in 2011. It is a popular, and welcome place to stay overnight.
