The Campus Fire Station (also known as Stillwater Fire Department Station No. 2) was built in 1939 as a fire training center for Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College, now Oklahoma State University. The station has serviced as the training site for the university's fire protection program.
This fire station is a three-story red brick building, with a 7-story fire tower at the rear. On the upper wall of the building, facing South, is a limestone panel, topped with a cornice and arched pediment, and flanked by cast stone decoration. The quotation from Marcus Tullius Cicero (106 B.C. - 43 B.C.) reads:
MEN RESEMBLE GODS IN NOTHING SO MUCH AS IN DOING GOOD TO THEIR FELLOW CREATURES - Cicero
