At the Box Canyon View Point there are views of Box Canyon, Mt. Rainier, and Mt. Adams. Box Canyon is a narrow slot canyon cut into the floor of a broad glacial valley. It is 115 feet deep and 13 feet wide at its narrowest point. There are four interpretive signs at locations near the parking lot. In addition there is a short loop trail to a footbridge crossing of the canyon.
