At the Hengstberg-Höhenweg, just below the summit, there is an inconspicuous vantage point with a view to the east.
Residents have built a makeshift bench from sawn timber, from which one has a beautiful view of Ahrbrück. As an additional attraction, the "Monument to Fallen Girls" was erected, which was embedded in concrete at the lookout point in the form of an engraved and colorfully labeled slate slab.
The place is marked on maps under this name, but not signposted on the trails.
