From the NSW Heritage listing, this building is described:

"A two storey rendered brick building in the Federation Free classical Style. The building comprises a Banking Chamber Offices and strong room with a Managers' residence on the first floor.
"The features include marseille pattern roof tiles on hipped roof to the roof, and gable roof to the front. The walls are in dark local face brick with cement mouldings. The side verandah includes shingle cladding and a verandah with paired posts." Bank of NSW, West Wyalong (former).

Just to the left of what had been the main entry to the Bank is the Historical Marker, which reads:
