EN: This large well-kept stone fountain faces a butcher's shop on the main street of Oberwil.
The wide limestone trough has rounded corners and on the pillar there is a small pyramid with a ball atop. In front of the main trough is a smaller one made of concrete and dated 1941. The large trough is not dated, but most probably it was created in the mid-19th century.
DE: Dieser grosse gut gepflegte Steinbrunnen steht vor einer Metzgerei an der Hauptstrasse von Oberwil.
Der breite Kalksteintrog hat gerundete Ecken und auf der Säule befindet sich eine kleine Pyramide mit einer Kugel auf der Spitze. Vor dem Haupttrog befindet sich noch ein kleinerer aus Beton, der mit 1941 datiert ist. Der grosse Trog ist nicht datiert, stammt aber vermutlich aus der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts.
