To reach this cemetery, drive east out of town on Buffalo Street (Highway 22) about one-half mile to Cemetery Road. Turn north on Cemetery Road to the cemetery. The area is flat with just a few trees. There are bisecting gravel drives both directions in the cemetery, and entrances where each drive meets a road.

J.A. Council's name was James Allen. This tree stump marker stands on 3 horizontal logs engraved with calla lily. The inscription on a flat panel reads:

J. A. Council Born Dec. 5, 1873 Died Jan. 23, 1919

The story of Mr. Council as shown on the Find a Grave listing reads:
"At his home in Caddo, yesterday morning about 8 o’clock, J. A. Council died of pneumonia and complications. The funeral will be held today. Mr. Council was an old time citizen of Caddo, was about 40 years of age, married, and leaves a wife and four children. For a number of years he lived on his farm northeast of Caddo, but the past few years he has spent trying to regain his health. He was a member of the Baptist Church and of the Modern Woodmen, in which he had a policy in favor of his family. Mr. Council was a good citizen, and his many friends here sympathized with him in his misfortune and with the family in their loss. Note: Mr. Council’s draft registration shows that he had TB."
