"Histoire
La station est ouverte le 20 janvier 1912, en tant que terminus d'une des branches de la ligne B du réseau Nord-Sud.
En 2011, 4 156 619 voyageurs sont entrés à cette station. Elle a vu entrer 4 021 254 voyageurs en 2013 ce qui la place à la 122e position des stations de métro pour sa fréquentation.
Au début de l'année 2018, le sous-titre Tribunal de Paris est apparu sur les plans de la ligne. Ce sous-titre n’apparaît cependant pas dans la station, la décoration de style « Nord-Sud », avec le nom de la station écrit sur des céramiques géantes ne s'y prêtant pas.
Services aux voyageurs
Accès
La station dispose de trois accès : un premier sur le boulevard Berthier, un second sur le boulevard Bessières et un troisième près du croisement du boulevard Bessières et de l'Avenue de la Porte-de-Clichy.
Quais
La station est constituée de deux demi-stations longues de 75 m situées sur l'ancienne boucle de retournement.
Elle est, avec les stations Pasteur et Porte de Versailles sur la ligne 12, l'une des trois stations du réseau à combiner le style « Andreu-Motte » à la céramique traditionnelle du style Nord-Sud d'origine.
Intermodalité
La station est en correspondance avec la ligne C du RER. Elle est desservie par les lignes 54, 74, PC3, 138, 173 et 528 du réseau de bus RATP et, la nuit, par les lignes N15 et N51 du réseau de bus Noctilien.
Projets
Métro
La station devrait être desservie à l'horizon 2020-2021 par la ligne 14 du métro lorsqu'elle sera prolongée. La construction de cette station a commencé en juin 2014.
La station de la ligne 14 sera parallèle à l’avenue de la Porte-de-Clichy, localisée sous des constructions de la future ZAC Clichy-Batignolles. L’accès principal à la station se fera à l’angle de l’avenue de la Porte-de-Clichy et du boulevard Bessières. Deux accès secondaires seront implantés, l'un sur le parvis de la Cité judiciaire de Paris, à l’angle de l’avenue de la Porte-de-Clichy et de la rue André-Suarès et l'autre à l’angle du boulevard Berthier et de l’avenue de la Porte-de-Clichy, pour assurer la correspondance avec le tramway de la ligne T3b. Sa réalisation a été confiée au groupement Eiffage TP/Razel-Bec.
La station sera construite sur sept niveaux. Elle aura une surface au plancher de 8 954 m2, une longueur de 120,5 m et une largeur de 20,65 m. Ses quais seront situés à une profondeur de 26 mètres.
Tramway
La station devrait être également desservie vers 2018 par la ligne T3b du tramway lorsqu'elle sera, elle aussi, prolongée. Cette station sera implantée en « quais décalés » de part et d’autre de la Porte de Clichy, intersection des boulevards Bessières et Berthier avec l’avenue de la Porte de Clichy et l’avenue de Clichy.
Bus
À l'arrivée du tramway, la station devrait devenir le terminus de la ligne de bus 21 qui sera prolongée depuis la gare Saint-Lazare. La ligne de bus PC3 devrait s'arrêter à la porte d'Asnières.
À l'ouverture du prolongement de la ligne 14 du métro, la ligne de bus 138 devrait se terminer à la station Clichy - Saint-Ouen.
RER abandonné
Une des variantes du tracé du prolongement du RER E à l'ouest l'aurait aussi desservie, mais ce tracé a été exclu en février 2011 au profit de celui passant par la porte Maillot."

The line 14 station will be parallel to the Porte de Clichy Avenue, located under buildings of the future ZAC Clichy-Batignolles. The main access to the station will be at the corner of Avenue de la Porte-de-Clichy and boulevard Bessières. Two secondary accesses will be installed, one on the forecourt of the Cité judiciaire de Paris, at the corner of Avenue de la Porte-de-Clichy and Rue André-Suarès and the other at the corner of boulevard Berthier and Porte de Clichy Avenue, to ensure connection with the T3b line tramway. Its implementation was entrusted to the Eiffage TP / Razel-Bec group.
The station will be built on seven levels. It will have a floor area of ??8,954 m2, a length of 120,5 m and a width of 20,65 m. Its docks will be located at a depth of 26 meters.
streetcar
The station should also be served by 2018 on the T3b tram line when it will also be extended. This station will be located in "staggered quays" on both sides of the Porte de Clichy, intersection of Boulevards Bessières and Berthier with the Porte de Clichy Avenue and Avenue de Clichy.
Bus
When the tram arrives, the station should become the terminus of the bus line 21, which will be extended from Saint-Lazare station. The PC3 bus line should stop at the Asnières gate.
