Am Ortsausgang von Meckenheim in Richtung Bonn liegt der Obsthof "Obstbau Felten". Die Einfahrt ist an der Landstraße L261 / Meckenheimer Allee, ganz in der Nähe der Kreuzung Gudenauer Allee / Lüftelberger Straße. Neben der Belieferung von Geschäften in der Umgebung betreibt Felten dort auch einen Hofladen, wo Kunden direkt vom Erzeuger Obst, Gemüse und verarbeitete Produkte kaufen können. Das Sortiment umfasst je nach Saison Erdbeeren, Äpfel, Birnen, Kirschen, Pflaumen, Spargel, Kartoffeln, Eier, Säfte, Spirituosen und vieles mehr.

An der Einfahrt zum Hofladen steht ein etwa 1,5 Meter großer Apfel aus Fiberglass um bei vorbeifahrenden Autofahrern Aufmerksamkeit zu erregen. Je nach Jahreszeit wird zeitweise auch noch eine ebenso große Erdbeere danebengestellt, der Apfel ist aber ganzjährig an seiner Position.
On the outskirts of Meckenheim in the direction of Bonn is the fruit farm "Obstbau Felten". The entrance is located on the road L261 / Meckenheimer Allee, very close to the junction Gudenauer Allee / Lüftelberger Straße. In addition to supplying shops in the area, Felten also runs a farm shop there where customers can buy fruit, vegetables and processed produce directly from the grower. Depending on the season, the range includes strawberries, apples, pears, cherries, plums, asparagus, potatoes, eggs, juices, spirits and much more.

At the entrance to the farm shop there is a 1.5-meter fiberglass apple to catch the eye of passers-by. Depending on the season, an equally large strawberry is occasionally placed next to it, but the apple is in its position all year round.
