The waymark is a replica of the cheesecake that set the world record in September 2013. The world's largest cheesecake weighed 6900 pounds. The Annual Cheesecake Festival happens to take place in Lowville, New York. Kraft Foods happens to have a dairy products plant in Lowville. At the cheesecake festival in 2013, Philadelphia Cream Cheese created the record-setting cheesecake. Ten thousand festival attendees enjoyed some cheesecake. The remaining cheesecake was donated to a food pantry and a soup kitchen.
