Georgiana Cemetery, also know as Crooked Mile Cemetery, has been credited with several unusual and spooky experiences which have left visitors with a creepy feeling. I have visited the cemetery several times looking for entirely earthly objects and, unfortunately, only felt the sense of peace that I often get as I walk through a beautiful cemetery. The link that I have included repeats a story that was found on StrangeUSA, a website that I am not able to find so I can't substantiate the story told on this person's blog, but seriously, can anyone substantiate what another person heard or felt. The story tells of two seekers of the unusual who found it here in Georgiana. They heard voices urging them to visit the back of the cemetery and another announcing when they were leaving the cemetery. After reading these, I just know that this winter when I am in the area, I will make a return visit in the hopes that I will also notice the strange happenings going on.
Public access?: Parking is along the street right in front of the cemetery on a fairly calm stree.
Visting hours: On street parking, the gate appears to be unlocked all the time. I haven't seen any listing of hours.
