The Calera Fire-Rescue is located in a large metal building, with a metal gable roof. There are five vehicle bays and an office located at the south end. The building has no signage, however their website refers to themselves as Calera Fire-Rescue. They are an ISO Class 4 fire department, established in 1872. This is a Volunteer department, with 27 volunteer firefighters and rescue personnel.

This is a very active unit in community life. They have several events throughout the year on holidays; they sponsor a 5K run each year; they have an annual food drive; and they give classes in areas such as water rescue. The building is open 24/7 and serves this community of about 1200 residents, plus the surrounding Calera area. In 2013, this unit was awarded the Oklahoma Emergency Medical Response Agency of the Year award.

The building is located at 108 S. McKinley, but receives its mail at the city offices adjacent, at 110 W. main. Non-emergency phone: 580-434-5300
