This is a short, but vital wooden Plank Bridge on the north side of the Hawkesbury River.

While the two-lane wooden bridge on Settlers Road is only about 6 metres long, it is over a gulch about 6 metres deep that descends steeply to the south into the Hawkesbury River.

The bridge is built in a bend of Settlers Road, with a slight descent on it. It is simple single span bridge with wooden beams and wooden deck. While the hardwood may not have been milled from the immediate area, there is plenty of potential, apart from it being Dharug National Park, that will 'never be logged!'
