The Bell UH - 1 Or "Huey " helicopters were initially used in Australia by the RAN in 1964 in a Search and Rescue role. In 1966 a new batch arrived and served in Vietnam supporting Autralian ground forces until 1971. The fleet were retired from service in 2007, this helicopter is at the start of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Walk in Seymour
