At the end of Crystal Crescent is a small turning area suitable for parking before heading up on short scramble to the concrete pedestal Trigonometric / Geodetic Station.

Unfortunately some local 'artists' have taken it upon themselves to decorate this trig, so that the Name Plate is hard to read. The trig is based on a square pad of concrete on top of a bouldery hilltop near a radio transmitter. Nearby is evidence of an earlier Trig Point.
