The pair of statues, mounted in boxes, guarding the house? Each hand painted and placed in their current position about 1995.
Artist Unknown.
Statues are almost life sized, and the Russian one seems to have movable parts.

This house was built about 1880 as a rectory for the German Methodist Episcopal Church, sold to the Baptists in 1960, when Methodist membership declined, then sold to Ernie Arteaga in 1971. Ernie made the church into a home, and converted this building into a Tea Room and Antique store. When he closed the Tea Room, the building was rented as an art gallery by Fraser Leonard.
