When you walk to the center of the courthouse to look up at the underside of the dome, you are standing on this seal. The picture of the seal was taken from the 5th floor looking down.
The seal is gray circle with the words "The State of Texas" on the top of the circle and "County of Rockwall" on the bottom of the circle. In the center is a gold star with white leaves around it.
The gray circle is inside a black circle with lines radiating out from it.
