This old fountain is called 'Unterer Marktbrunnen'. It's located at the 'Marktplatz' in Weil der Stadt, Germany, Baden-Württemberg.

The fountain has been created in 1603 by the local artist Hans Decker. The lion at the fountain is a copy. The original statue is located at the 'Stadtmuseum'.

The eight-sided fountain consists of sand stone.
