"The imposing church under the patronage of Saint-Etienne, isolated at the bottom of this steep hill, is lined with a beautiful old cemetery and was erected at the beginning of the 13th century, as evidenced by the nave and the bell tower. the flat chevet is later (15th century) The interior consists of a long nave divided into four high bays.
The vaults of the first two bays of the nave were rebuilt at the end of the 19th century, the following dates from the 15th century. The main feature of this building is undoubtedly the cupola on horns composed of a vault with six ribs converging towards the annular nave, surmounted by a barlong steeple. We rarely meet this architectural layout in the region.
The wall of the apse is pierced by a high window to a mullion. Inside, two carved angels, one playing a musical instrument, the other praying with both hands joined, frame this window. In the north wall, on the outside of the building, is a very sober place, placed between two small columns. On the south wall, we can distinguish some graffiti representing various boats, recurring patterns on the churches of the region. "

" L’imposante église placée sous le patronage de Saint-Etienne, isolée au fond de ce coteau escarpé, est bordé d’un très beau cimetière ancien. Elle fut érigée au début du XIIIe siècle comme en témoignent la nef et le clocher alors que le chevet plat est plus tardif (XVe siècle). L’intérieur se compose d’une longue nef divisée en quatre hautes travées.
Les voûtures des deux premières travées de la nef furent reconstruites à la fin du XIXe siècle, les suivantes datent du XVe siècle. La caractéristique principale de cet édifice est sans nul doute la coupole sur trompes composée d’une voûte à six nervures convergeant vers la nef annulaire, surmontée d’un clocher barlong. On ne rencontre que très rarement cette disposition architecturale dans la région.
Le mur de l’abside est percé d’une fenêtre haute à un meneau. A l’intérieur deux culots sculptés figurant des anges, l’un jouant d’un instrument de musique, l’autre priant les deux mains jointes, encadrent cette fenêtre. Dans le mur nord, à l’extérieur de l’édifice, est conservé un enfeu d’une extrême sobriété, placé entre deux colonnettes. Sur le mur sud, on peut distinguer quelques graffitis représentant diverses embarcations, motifs récurrents sur les églises de la région. "
