Mr. Jones's side of the obelisk faces east. There is a psychopomp on the shaft, and the family name is on the plinth. The panel itself reads:

The south-facing side of the obelisk has a sheaf of grain on the shaft, and a funeral wreath with roses, on the panel. On the plinth is:
Oh! For the touch of a vanished hand,
and the sound of a voice that is still.
The west-facing side of the obelisk has a figure on the shaft, clinging to a cross, and note "Monumental Bronze Co. Bridgeport, CT." on the base. The panel reads:

The north-facing side has a cherub on the obelisk shaft, and "Sheltered from Sorrow." on the plinth. Unfortunately, the panel itself is missing. If Mrs. Jones is here, Findagrave has no record of it, and the panel may have been decorative only. There are a few missing screws throughout, and while the missing panel is a serious loss, it does reveal markings inside, presumably from the factory, where panels 1, 2, and 4 were numbered, with "Jones" written underneath.
