FR Tout près du moulin de Ventabren on peut voir cette collection de meules en pierres. On ne sait plus trop d'où elles viennent mais une chose est sûre, elles ne viennent pas de ce moulin qui était un moulin à eau. La force du vent était transformée pour le pompage de l'eau en bas du village vers le eau du village pour qu'elle puisse s'y écouler par gravité.
A la restauration du moulin quelqu'un a dû trouver judicieux d'y déposer ces meules.
EN Very close to the mill of Ventabren we can see this collection of stone wheels. We do not know where they come from but one thing is certain, they do not come from this mill which was a water mill. The force of the wind was transformed to pump water down the village to the village water for it to flow by gravity.
At the restoration of the mill someone must have found it wise to deposit these millstones.
