< DE >  Auf dem Jodok-Fink-Platz in Wien steht eine große Mariensäule, die von Georg Konstantin Freiherr von Simich als Zeichen der Hoffnung während der letzten Wiener Pestepidemie gestiftet und am 2. August 1713 vom Missionar Pater Lucca geweiht wurde. Auf dem dreiseitigen Sockel sind auf zwei Seiten je ein Chronogramm und auf der dritten Seite eine Inschrift, die den Spender nennt, zu sehen.
Auf dem Sockel stehen Engelsfiguren und um den Sockel herum sind Statuen von Joachim & Anna (den Eltern von Maria) und Josef zu sehen. Die Säule ist mit Wolken und Putten verziert und endet mit einem korinthischen Kapitell, auf dem eine Mondsichelmadonna zu sehen ist.
< EN >  On the Jodok-Fink-Platz in Vienna stands a large Marian column, which was donated by Georg Konstantin Freiherr von Simich as a sign of hope during the last plague in Vienna and consecrated on August 2, 1713 by the missionary Father Lucca. On the three-sided pedestal, a chronogram is displayed on two sides and an inscription on the third page, which identifies the donor.
There are angel figures on the pedestal and statues of Joachim & Ann (the parents of Maria) and Joseph can be seen around the pedestal. The column is decorated with clouds and putti and ends with a Corinthian capital, on which a crescent moon Madonna can be seen.
