"The "Deutsches Museum Bonn" shows some 100 contemporary masterpieces of science and technology. They represent significant scientific and technical developments of the past almost seven decades.
The exhibits also feature the results of several lines of research that were rewarded with Nobel prizes.
The Deutsches Museum Bonn is an offshoot of the world-famous Deutsches Museum in Munich (its only branch outside the Munich area). It is housed in the Wissenschaftszentrum of the "Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft"."
The largest exhibit is the Transrapid 06, which was in operation at the Transrapid test facility in Emsland.
The exhibits provide an insight into the work and achievements of famous scientists, technicians and inventors, including many Nobel Prize winners.
In the exhibition area there are various possibilities to literally understand physics through practical experiments.
In the experimental kitchen, schools and birthday parties can book workshops where participants can experiment themselves and where chemistry is explained with the help of everyday objects.
