[FR] Encore méconnus, les mégalithes d’Avergne et ceux du Cantal en particulier surprennent par leur nombre. Le Pays de Saint-Flour abrite un ensemble de vestiges facilement accessibles datant de plusieurs millénaires (fin du néolithique) et remarquables par leur état de conservation. Ils offrent avec les paysages de la Planèze, vaste plateau basaltique situé au pied des Monts du Cantal, un spectacle secret et unique.
[EN] Much is still unknown about the megaliths of Auvergne and those of the Cantal in particular, surprising by the sheer number of them. In the area around Saint-Flour, there is a collection of easily accessible vestiges which are thousands of years old (dating from the end of the neolithic era) and remarkably well preserved. Along with the landscape of the Planèse, a vast basaltic plateau situated at the foot of the Cantal range, they are a secret and unique sight.
