"In the Croulay valley, in the town of Panzoult, the cave of the Sibyl was built in the 16th and 17th centuries. This is where Rabelais locates one of the episodes of the Third Book in which Panurge and Epistemon come to consult a diviner on the advice of Pantagruel.

It is a troglodyte hamlet on the hill, composed of several caves. Coarse engravings represent faces.

Composed of a floor, access is via a staircase (also dug) and allows access to a large "cellar" with a door and 3 slots.

The ceilings have been covered with a brown coating and retain arabesques / decors that dates from the end of the middle age. "
