Indian Campaigns Medal of Honor Recipient for action at Chiricahua Mountains, AZ on October 20, 1869. He is buried in Miramar National Cemetery, San Diego CA in Section 3, Site 1052. His ashes were originally stored in the community crypt at Greenwood Memorial Park, San Diego, CA and in 2015 they were moved to Miramar National Cemetery.
