I was able to prove via
Ancestry.com that Grace McCarthy lived to be 100 (barely). She was born March 28, 1886 and passed away in August of 1986 (day not listed). The website states that she was married to Frank McCarthy (who she is buried next to in Mt. Union Cemetery) and that she and her husband had one daughter, Lois. Her middle name was Margaret and her maiden name was Lowell. A 1930 and 1940 U.S. Census lists her family as living in Portland, OR.
